TIME TRACKING DASHBOARD





Item   Description\Notes
 Active Only Employee Check box
  Used to toggle whether or not to include Inactive employees in the list.
 Employee drop down
  Filter the weekly time sheets by employee.
 
 Show records for all dates check box
   Option to display all weekly time sheets for all dates.
 Work Week drop down
   Allow for the selection of the work week to enter time against.  Depending on the setting for "Start of Work Week" in the company config (Human Resource (HR) tab, the week will either start on a SUNDAY (default) or a MONDAY.
 Create Time sheet button
   Create an empty weekly time sheet for the specified work week.
 Time sheet status list box
   Used to filter weekly time sheets by status.
 Time sheet List
   List all weekly time sheets that match the selection criteria (employee, work week, status, etc).
 Print button
  Print the time sheet
 Edit button
   Display the weekly time sheet for data entry.
 Delete button
   Delete the selected Weekly Time Sheet
 Duplicate button
   Creates a copy of the selected weekly time sheet.

ENTERING TIME

  Description\Notes
JobID Column
   Enter the Job to which this time entry will be charged to.  Double-click on the cell to perform a search\query using the default JOB Query screen .
 Cost Category column
   Enter the cost category for the time entry.  Double-click on the cell to display list of cost categories to select from.
 Payroll Item column
   Select from the available list of Payroll Items (imported from QuickBooks).
 Job Name column
   Display Job name for the specified JobID
 Category Description column
   Display description of the specified cost category
 Time Entry for each week day
   Fields to capture and store individual task duration for the current employee, job and cost category.

Note 1: all times are in hours and minutes.  To enter 30 minutes, type in "0.30" or "0:30" (without the quotes) or "2.30" or 2:30" for 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Note 2: Depending on the setting for "Start of Work Week" in the company config (Human Resource (HR) tab, the week will either start on a SUNDAY (default) or a MONDAY.

Perform a RIGHT-MOUSE CLICK on any of the time entry cell\column to enter NOTES for each task entry.  If the cell has task note, a RED square will be visible at the top right hand corner of the cell\column



 OK button
   Saves and closes the screen.
 Cancel button
   Closes the screen.
 Apply button
   Saves and remain on the same screen.
 Add Row button
   Adds another row to the weekly time sheet
 Delete Row button
   Delete the currently selected row in the list\grid.
 Print button
   Prints the weekly time sheet.
 Submit button
   This button will CLOSE the time sheet from further data entry.  If REJECTED, the time wheet will be reverted back to OPEN.  If APPROVED, the time sheet will be processed and individual time records will be generated for each cell in the time sheet.
 Reject button
  The authorized supervisor can use this button to REJECT the submitted time sheet and return it to OP can be modified again).EN status (where the time entries.  This button will only be enabled when the time sheet has been submitted and the current user has the access rights to REJECT time sheets.
 Approve button
   The authorized supervisor can use this button to APPROVE the submitted time sheet and generate the individual time records.  This button will only be enabled when the time sheet has been submitted and the current user has the access rights to APPROVE time sheets.
